History of Xinjiang Province China

Foreword

While I am not well versed in the history of Xinjiang, it has been my decision to write about this beautiful part of the People’s Republic of China. The decision has been based again on the irregular reporting by certain elements of the Western Media concerning this region. It was also my decision to undertake the writing of this article based on what I saw in China and on historical facts.

A Brief History of Xinjiang

The US Latin TV Station America Teve reported about the Xinjiang region using lies such as the following: “Xinjiang became a part of China in 1949.” It appears that people are misinformed again about China’s history and that of its regions. The Xinjiang Region and China have been inseparable since the era of the Han Dynasty between the years 206 BC to 220 AD.

During the Han Dynasty [which was one of the first dynasties in China], the following ethnic groups lived in Xinjiang. They were the Han, Sai, Qing, Rouzhi, Wusun, and Xiongnu. During this period, there was the existence of the Silk Route which increased commercial trade between China and the rest of the world which also contributed to the peace and harmony that exists today.

During the time of the Han Dynasty and successive governments, a frontier command was established which ratified the rule of China over Xinjiang. Russia during the time of the Tsars attempted to take advantage of the period when China was being used as a prize by the Western Imperialists to attempt a takeover of Xinjiang.

The Chinese Government was able to repel the takeover and reinforce its control over Xinjiang. When the Republic of China was proclaimed in 1911, it reinforced its control over Xinjiang. Regardless, there were people who tried to invent names and the West as well as other powers was there to help as long as they benefitted economically.

These group of agitators invented many ways to separate Xinjiang from the rest of China using ethnic and religious divisions. There were others who invented republics and states that withered away because of lack of support from the people who were loyal to China.

The people of Xinjiang were liberated from the claws of oppression from foreigners and their fellow travelers on the 25^th of September 1949. When the People’s Republic of China was proclaimed on the 1^st of October 1949, the people of Xinjiang have been witnesses to the great changes in their lives.

The advances in the realm of education, health, and culture have been staggering since the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China. The education system has been designed to improve the lot of the people in the region. The health care system has improved as well with an increase in the creation of hospitals and clinics. There was also progress in the elimination of many contagious diseases that plagued the region.

The area of culture has undergone major changes with the formation of various groups of theatres and music compared to the lack of them before the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. One of the best groups from the Xinjiang Region is Bravo Xinjiang who is famous for being an ensemble dedicated to song and dance.

In the area of the economy, the Gross Domestic Product of Xinjiang exceeded 400 billion Yuan or 58.9 billion US Dollars in the year 2008.

Personal Experience

I remember meeting people from Xinjiang during my trip to China. It was during the period that I was entering the steps of the Great Hall of The People on June 28, 2008 to accept my award for the Olympic Knowledge Contest. The people that I knew were from diverse ethnic groups such as the Kazakh, Mongols, Manchus, Uygur, Tajik, Uzbek, and Tatar.

The people of Xinjiang that I met in China shared their love of music with me and their music like the rest of China was very beautiful not only because of the melody but also the verses that extolled love of country, family, and friends. The traditional dress that they wore on the steps of the Great Hall of The People exuded beauty and tranquility.

The people of China including Xinjiang practiced as well as preached their love of country, family, and friends by helping each other as well as helping a stranger.

After they talked about their culture and love of family, they wanted to know about the USA and the US Latin Community. They were impressed when I told them that some of our music had their origins in China and Xinjiang. After all, we live in a world where only frontiers exist in the mind of the agitators whose minds spew hatred.

While impressed with how many nationalities live together and get along in China, I cannot say the same thing about the USA. I have a feeling that certain members of the US Media want to invent divisions as a result of their own insecurity. It appears that the Western Media cannot accept a China that has always had peaceful multicultural relationships.

It also appears that the Western Media in an attempt to hide their own insecurities or for the lack of news have decided to invent more lies about China. I condemn the lies and misinformation about what has transpired in Xinjiang.

Conclusion

The way the Western Media has portrayed China is based on fear and prejudices. It is also mean, racist, and bigoted. The reports on China by the Western Media are nothing more than interference in the internal affairs of a country.

The people who have worked in the Western Media [the majority] have not one ounce of knowledge of history when it comes to covering a news story from a distant country. It is also easy for certain members of the Western Media to criticize and meddle in the internal affairs of another country instead of correcting one’s own society.

I have a piece of advice for certain members of the Western Media, please look at the problems facing your societies before attacking other countries and societies. Thank You.

Luo Jing of CCTV News Dies

After hearing about the death of CCTV Broadcaster Luo Jing, I would like to express my condolences to the People’s Republic of China, China Radio International, CCTV, and Xinhua on the loss of a legend among legends in broadcasting.

Como Medico en la Esfera Administrativa, escribo estas reflexiones como una muestra de mi amor hacia la Republica Popular China, Radio Internacional de China, CCTV, y Xinhua.

H1N1 y La Comunidad

En el presente, la Florida es otro estado mas afectado por el Virus Influenza A H1N1 con casos en los Condados Lee, Broward, y Miami-Dade. Los colegios de Hallandale, y el Doral permanence cerrado hasta el fin de semana. Aunque los casos se han mermado, existe una cultura del miedo por parte de los medios de comunicaciones en los Estados Unidos de Norteamerica.

Aunque existe el deber de informar y tomar precauciones, la prensa en EEUU decidieron que es necesario la tortura sicologica contra el pueblo. Recientemente, una cadena de la radio y television de la comunidad Latina en EEUU dio las noticias sobre un grupo de mexicanos lanzando calumnias contra la Republica Popular China por sus medidas de proteccion contra la H1N1.

Mi respuesta para los medios de comunicaciones de la Comunidad Latina en EEUU y otros medios en el pais es lo siguiente. La Republica Popular China es un pais soberano con el derecho de proteger a su pueblo contra las amenazas incluyendo H1N1.

La Republica Popular China tambien decide quien puede o no entrar en su pais. Todos los paises del mundo tienen ese derecho aunque en EEUU las fronteras sufren de un descuido. Parece que ciertos grupos mexicanos pensaron que todos los paises en el mundo tienen las fronteras abiertas debido a la mitologia del mismo tema pues esa mitologia es el pan de cada dia en la prensa de la Comunidad Latina en EEUU.

Incluso, la Republica Popular China junto con otros organismos como Radio Internacional de China, CCTV, y Xinhua dijeron presente cuando varias comunidades sufrieron perdida de vida y material durante el temblor de tierra del 2008. La Republica Popular China, Radio Internacional de China, CCTV, y Xinhua ayudaron en todas las esferas a los que sufrieron el temblor de tierra en el 2008.

Jamas olvidare cuando todos se unieron en comunidad. Por eso y mucho mas, hay otra pregunta para los medios de comunicaciones en EEUU [incluyendo la comunidad Latina]. Donde estaba la gente de los medios de comunicaciones y el gobierno de los EEUU durante los Huracanes Katrina, Rita, y Wilma en el 2005?

Donde estaba el sentido de comunidad presente en una sociedad que habla tanto de derechos humanos sin practicarlo? La respuesta fue triste pues nos abandonaron los grandes de la sociedad en EEUU. Jamas olvidare cuando murio mi tia durante un paro respiratorio debido a una enfermedad de larga duracion durante Katrina.

Aunque la muerte era inevitable, el municipio donde vivo no la atendieron pues se equivocaron de ciudad. Jamas olvidare cuando no hubo ordenador, gasolina, electricidad, ni comida en los tiempos despues de los tres Huracanes de 2005 en especial Katrina. Jamas olvidare de la anarquia que surgio por la fata de autoridad.

Parece mentira que la sociedad estadounidense habla tanto de derechos humanos pero violaron lo basico cuando dejaron pueblos sin proteccion. Parece que nuestra comunidad Latina olvido de ese abandono.

Es mas facil tirar una piedra a las tierras ajenas y no mirar hacia adentro. Parece que la comunidad Latina en EEUU olvido de la violacion de los derechos humanos en Pennsylvania. En Pennsylvania, un grupo de jovenes racistas mataron a un mexicano. Los grupos de la comunidad Latina entablaron una querella contra los racistas. Sabe lo que paso?

El juez [con el jurado en un juicio pre arreglado] fallo a favor de los racistas. Mi memoria de los eventos son como lo de un elefante pues por escuchar a Radio Internacional de China, me senti tranquilo y sereno pues mi familia en Radio Internacional de China estaba a mi lado durante mi vida.

Reflexion Personal

Quiero agradecer a Radio Internacional de China por ser mi familia en el eter desde mi ni~nez en 1970 en ingles y adolecencia en 1977 en espa~nol. En verdad, siempre estabas conmigo en lo bueno y lo malo. Jamas olvidare de mi viaje a China especialmente a Beijing con la Gran Muralla en Badaling, La Plaza Tienamen, El Palacio Prohibido, Los Sitios de las Olimpiadas, y los Museos.

Jamas olvidare del hotel donde fui huesped el Palacio Popular China y el servicio sobresaliente. Siempre tengo en mi alma el dia que visite a Radio Internacional de China. Los locutores fueron amable y cari~noso. Qingdao es un pueblo precioso con su bahia y su mezcla de lo Nuevo con lo antiguo.

La playa estaba limpia y nitida. Fue una alegria poder ver a la gente disfrutando de la playa y retratandose. Mi tiempo en China fue un tiempo de alegria y donde por una semana senti la libertad y tranquilidad. Aquello es un lugar seguro donde la gente pueden caminar sin miedo. Para los EEUU en especial a la comunidad Latina, cuando fue la ultima vez que caminaste por los barrios sin temor a los ladrones?

La epoca de poder disfrutar de una caminata en EEUU dejo de existir porque el sistema concedio todo tipo de derecho a los ladrones, asaltantes, delincuentes, y asesinos. Que lastima esa realidad y como se oculta.

La Necesidad de Un Servicio de Onda Corta

Es importante el servicio de onda corta debido a que hay personas que no pueden pagar un servicio de internet ni television digital. Incluso, hay personas comprando receptors de onda corta debido a la economia y el deseo de mantenerse en contacto con el exterior despues de la anarquia de 2005 dejado por los huracanes.

Espero que Radio Internacional de China logra mantener su servicio de onda corta y que puede extender sus programas en el idioma de Cervantes para la Comunidad Latina dentro de America del Norte.

Hay muchos latinos que quieren conocer a China especialmente despues del regreso de este humilde escritor. El servicio de onda corta y via cibernetica de Radio Internacional de China puede server como una alternative a las emisoras dentro de America del Norte y sus mentiras.

Las Buenas Noticias

Prefiero pensar en lo positive, quiero felicitar a la Republica Popular China, Radio Internacional de China, CCTV, y Xinhua en los dias feriados del 1er de Mayo 2009, 4to de Mayo 2009, las fechas de aniversario de Radio Internacional de China, CCTV, y Xinhua.

Quiero extender mis felicitaciones para la Seccion Espa~nola de Radio Internacional de China en su aniversario y por supuesto hacia los eventos que llevo a cabo para un dia especial. Mis felicitaciones para la Republica Popular China en su 60 Aniversario como una inspiracion para el mundo.

CCTV: Premio AG Mejor TV y Documentales 2008

El Noticiero Alvarez Galloso con mucho gusto otorga el Premio AG Mejor TV y Documentales de 2008 a la Television Central de China [CCTV]. CCTV es simbolo de lo que debe ser la television. CCTV es simbolo de las noticias objetivas, programas en por de la familia, y conocimiento general. Felicidades para CCTV y CRI las antorchas de la libertad y el buen gusto.

La Republica Popular China y El Siglo XXI

La Republica Popular China es un socio importante para America Latina y los EEUU [incluyendo la nacion latina dentro de los EEUU]. La Republica Popular China es una potencia por tener ambiciones y lograr mucho en poco tiempo atraves del sudor.  Los latinos necesitan a la Republica Popular China para guiarlos hacia un camino recto. Nosotros [incluyendo los latinos nacidos y criados en EEUU que dejaron su cultura para poner una cultura artificial como el imperialismo yanqui por encima de lo nuestro] tenemos necesidad de aprender de China.

 

Los EEUU tenia la actitud de ser una potencia que no queria saber de las cosas del mundo. Incluso, la mayoria de los ciudadanos de los EEUU no querian esmerarse. La mayoria querian vivir de los sellos, sus seguros de Medicare, Medicaid, el Retiro, y pasar la noche mirando los aburridos y ignorantes en la television. El resultado es que los EEUU esta en el atraso cada dia y aun quieren culpar a los latinos, chinos, y otros pueblos por su falta de responsabilidad. Pore so y mucho mas, el siglo XXI sera de la Republica Popular China, Rusia, Europa, y la India.
