Cole, Fabregas, and the FA [Part II]

Diciembre 19, 2007

It appears that Ashley Cole is still waiting for the FA Decision in favour or against him. The decision is expected on the 26th of December 2007. It will not be denied that Cole and Arsenal had problems in the past. It was also unprofessional on Cole’s part to criticize Arsenal after leaving on his autobiography. It is also understandable that Arsenal is angry at the way Cole criticized them after leaving.Having made the above statements, I still consider that Cole and Chelsea are being singled out for persecution by the FA. Chelsea and Cole should also be commended for playing under pressure in spite of the problems in the beginning of the 2007-2008 Premiership Season.

FA, Cole, & Fabregas

Diciembre 17, 2007

It appears that Ashley Cole, and Cesc Fabregas may have had a confrontation during the Arsenal VS Chelsea Game of the 16th of December 2007. The FA is still ruling on what to do.

Roberto saw portions of the video in question of Cole VS Fabregas and thinks that both players may have been provoked by the public. It appears that Cole and Fabregas should not have been provoked.

It is also unfair that Chelsea is the scapegoat for everything that has gone wrong in the Premiership. Before punishing Cole, punish Fabregas and the public as well.

Terry Injured Again

Diciembre 16, 2007

Terry was injured during the game against Arsenal. It adds salt to the wound of our loss to Arsenal. It was a foot injury that left him inactive. As usual, Chelsea is now making sure that the injury did not result in a fracture. Regardless, I have the feeling that Terry will be out maybe for three months.

This is not a good sign as it was hoped that Chelsea could continue its progress in the Premiership League. Regardless, [with or without Terry] Chelsea will be go forward in the Premiership Games in spite of being defeated by Arsenal. Chelsea and Stamford Bridge are the greatest.

Cheslea and Stamford Bridge are the greatest because of their players and the fans. We are there in the good and the bad. In using the phrase by the rock group Queen: “No Time For Losing Cause We Are The Champions of the World”.

Chelsea, Valencia, & FA

Diciembre 13, 2007

In their UEFA Game, Chelsea and Valencia were struggling for a goal even though Chelsea had classified in Group B. Chelsea also had the advantage that Essien could play in the game against Valencia. I often wander how a player can play in Internationals yet be unfairly banned from playing in National Games. Chelsea received assistance from the returns of Cech and Ferrera. Chelsea was at its best with all of the players in a disciplined and organized mode.

Valencia needed to score and managed to put some resistance. Yet Valencia was no match for Chelsea and the game ended as it began.

Chelsea 0-0 Valencia

Chelsea: 6/10

Valencia: 4/10

In other news, Chelsea has decided to admit one charge of misconduct against a referee named Andre Marriner during its game against Derby. Chelsea also stated that they will appeal the ban on Essien. I consider the charge against Essien unfair and unjust. It is Andre Marriner and other referees who should be apologizing for their behaviour and attitude.

Chelsea Declaws Sunderland

Diciembre 9, 2007

Chelsea and Sunderland played at Stamford Bridge with the Blues surviving the Black Cats.

Initially, I was afraid since Drogba was out due to knee surgery. The first goal by Shevchenko served as a peace of tranquility followed by a second goal by Lampard on a Penalty. Shevchenko and Lampard proved themselves to be vital in functioning under pressure.

Sunderland was able to put up resistance and played great. The Black Cats were unable to leave deep cut marks in the Blues as the Blues played a game of attrition with them.

Chelsea on the other hand proved that even with Drogba injured, they were able to prove themselves worthy of advancing towards the Premier League. Chelsea did not advance because of some good luck as some of the sports announcers in the USA said. Chelsea advanced since the team is disciplined, was able to put behind them the events surrounding the departure of Mourinho, and the supporters of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and beyond.

More Power to Chelsea.

Chelsea 2-0 Sunderland

Chelsea: 6/10

Sunderland: 4/10

Drogba y la Rodilla

Diciembre 8, 2007

Drogba and His Knee

Diciembre 8, 2007

It appears that Drogba had a recurrence of his knee injury and will miss Premiership Games. He is also involved in the struggle to be fit for the African Cup of Nations in 2008.

This is expected to be a big problem for Chelsea since Drogba has scored nine goals in fifteen appearances. It is hoped that Drogba recovers rapidly so that he could play for Chelsea and the African Cup of Nations.

It is easy to criticize Beckham for missing most of the games of the MLS Season after signing with the LA Galaxy. But what has happened to Drogba shows that even football players are human with injuries. Grant and Chelsea deserves praise for taking Drogba’s Injury into consideration and doing everything possible to assist in his rehabilitation.

Response to Malouda

Diciembre 6, 2007

Malouda complains about the training session, the diet, and the Christmas Season. Malouda then retracts his statements saying that it was “what the French told him about the English”.

Personally, Chelsea is a great team with a great tradition. The people of Chelsea including the fans are the best. The Chelsea Nation has engulfed the world with supporters in places such as North America, and Asia. The Chelsea Nation has even included supporters such as Bill and Hillary Clinton. No wonder they named their daughter Chelsea.

I am proud to say that Chelsea is my club and to wear a cap and shirt with the Chelsea Slogan emblazoned on it.

The Football Fans in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the Isle of Man may have defects since we are all humans. But they have virtues of club loyalty, and loyalty to family. They work in various trades not only to support family but also to visit their favourite teams and go to games. I support the Football Fans, Clubs, and Associations in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, and the Isle of Man.

Maybe Malouda needs to be deprogrammed from all of the lies that he has been told while in France.

Chelsea Barely Survives

Diciembre 1, 2007

Chelsea and West Ham played in Stamford Bridge and it was a miracle that Chelsea survived the game. The game was also a miracle as well.

The game was filled with challenges, fouls, bookings on Kalou and Obi, and players attempting to settle scores of the past and present. What happen as well was that Chelsea attempted to defend itself against an aggressive West Ham until the first goal by Joe Cole at 76 minutes.

Afterwards, West Ham attempted to fight for its life and score an equalizer. It was not to be since Chelsea was able to resist any pressure. West Ham left the game in a disgusted mood. Regardless, Roberto was happy that Chelsea won.

DROGBA, CHELSEA, & ROSENBORG [EN] [ES]

Noviembre 30, 2007

DROGBA, CHELSEA, & ROSENBORG

Roberto managed to see some of the game and felt happy with Chelsea’s Victory. It seems as though Chelsea has been recidivated after undergoing agony in the wake of “The Great One’s” Departure.

Drogba stunned Rosenborg and the game was never the same. Regardless, Chelsea winning was like being in heaven on earth. It proves that the verse from Steve Miller’s Song “Jet Airliner” was right. Steve Miller sang: “You have to go through hell before you get to heaven”. Chelsea has just arrived at heaven for now.

Roberto esta contento con la victoria de Chelsea en su juego contra Rosenborg. Drogba mostro su talla con Chelsea haciendo una resurreccion como el Ave Fenix.
