“This Is It” which shows Michael Jackson rehearsing for a concert in his final days deserves to be honoured. “This Is It” is testimony to the genius that was Michael Jackson and who was never appreciated during his lifetime.

Theravada Rocks Again
The rock group Theravada [whose members are Jesus Acosta, Jose Acosta, Angel Villacis, Angel Naves, and Armando Perez] have shocked the rock world in Miami Florida with a concert in the Kendall area.
During rehearsal, the underwriter was treated to a jamming session with brighter renditions of their songs as well as songs made famous by Nirvana. After the rehearsals, the concert got into full swing.
The introduction was done by the whole group with the drummers dueling with the electric guitars. The song “Sex Machine” is one of the recent hits by Theravada and was played with an intense emotion. The same intensity and electricity applied to another Theravada hit “2344″.
The song “2344″ addresses social issues with a humorous twist. Afterwards, Jose Acosta, Angel Villacis, and Angel Naves did their rendition of the Nirvana Classic “Old Age”. “Old Age” appeared to be a rendition which made the underwriter think of nature.
Jose Acosta, Angel Villacis, and Angel Naves with Armando Perez did another Theravada Classic of “Brother Love” and the sudience was content. In fact, the audience wanted more from Theravada and the group closed with a Nine Inch Nails classic.
The public was not content and they wanted more Theravada. Armando Perez did a solo in the electric guitar which evoked such greats such as Jimi Hendrix. Theravada keeps growing along with the music. The underwriter will continue to give the group a 5/5 for the music, the concert, and the ambience surrounding both.

Adriana Rojas and Things To Be Happy About
During a visit to the various websites of publishers, the underwriter visited one website with the book “Things To Be Happy About”. The author of the book is Adriana Rojas and she accepted the invitation of the underwriter to be interviewed. The interview was conducted via E Mail.
1. What inspired you to be an author?
I wanted to be able to express myself and enjoy it, I decided to write for
children, I enjoy creating stories for them, it’s a wonderful field to be in.
2. What was the inspiration in writing “Things To Be Happy About”?
Children, they are a great inspiration to me, Children are a gift from God,
we can learn alot from them. I want Children to know that no matter what,
theres always something to be happy about, it’s not always gloom, but
that they have good things to look forward to in their life.
3. Have you written with various magazines or other media?
I have written articles for Helium.
4. Do you have other projects planned for the future and what are they?
Yes, I’m presently working on another childrens book, which won’t be ready
for a while. I’m also a freelance and stock photograher, I also plan to publish
some of my photographs. I have one picture called “Pet Fish” which I’m
I’m going to publish soon.

Theravada: The Birth Of A Great Rock Concert
The heart of Miami Florida was witness to one of the greates rock concerts in history. The underwriter had the privilege of attending this historic moment with his wife and daughter. The name of the group is Theravada which means peace and harmony and they left both in this concert.
The group was founded during a session in a swimming pool in the summer of 2009 by Jesus Acosta, Jose Acosta, and Angel Villacis. The rest of the members [Armando Perez from the group Undone Juan Diaz, and Angel Nauer] joined afterwards. Michelle Gorra is the designer for Theravada.
The first song from the concert was a majestic interpretation of one of the songs made famous by Nirvana. It was by the duo of Jose Acosta and Armando Perez which was followed by an original composition by Theravda. The original composition by Theravda is available in one of their singles.
The interpretation of the original composition by Armando Perez was also one that left a piece of tranquility in the heart of the concertgoers. Jesus Acosta then did a jamming duo with Perez with dueling electric guitars that charged up the atmosphere followed by a solo. The solo was done by Jesus Acosta.

The end result was a rock version of a hurricane that left people with their eyes wide open in astonishment and happiness. The underwriter gives the concert and the group a 10/10.

Katy Calzado: “La Vida Es Una Sorpresa” [ENG]
At a time when people are looking for music and artists that are above the average, they find them in their own neighborhoods. Katy Calzado is an example of such a versatile artist with her first CD “La Vida Es Una Sorpresa” [Life Is Full Of Surprises].
Katy Calzado is a singer and songwriter with a wide range of interpretation of different Latin genres such as Son Montuno, Rumba, Bachata, and Cumbia. Her singing is an example of pure interpretation without synthesizers and other forms of artificial flavours to her music.
Her first song which is the title of her CD “La Vida Es Una Sorpresa” [Life Is Full Of Surprises] challenges people to forget about the bitterness of the past in order to embrace a present as well as a future full of happiness, forgiveness, and love [as in love between all human beings].
The interpretation of the bachata “Que Pecado Tiene” was also beautifully orchestrated as well as the traditional Cuban Song by composer Guillermo Portabales “El Carretero” took the underwriter to the period when he lived in Venezuela in the 1970’s.
The compositions of Katy Calzado such as “El Son Es La Tradicion” [The Son Traditional Cuban Dance], Amor [Love], El Fotingo de Domingo [The Events of Sunday] with its rhythm invites people to either dance or make a personal reflection. “El Fotigo de Domingo” is a Cumbia that also evoked in the underwriter the times in Venezuela.
“La Guagua” is a satire about busses while her rendition of the classical song by Mexican Composer Jose Alfredo Jimenez “El Rey” [The King] evokes pride in the face of adversity. One of the things that the underwriter took into consideration was the Down to Earth nature of Katy Calzado.
She dedicated her CD to God, her family [including father, mother, daughter, brother, and pet] and to her friends. It is this and other factors that make Katy Calzado a new voice in Miami Florida for future generations.

Roman Polanski [ESP]
Polanski cometio un abuso contra un menor pero todos los cargos fueron retirado y sucedio hace tres decadas. Parece que la clase gobernante de los EEUU no tienen otra cosa que hacer sino cometer otro barbarie. La detencion de Polanski es una violacion de los derechos humanos y parte de la politica estadounidense de la intromision en los asuntos internos de otros paises.
Lo que debe ser con Polanski es castigarlo con no ver sus peliculas ni dar publicidad a ese degenerado.

I do not have any sympathy for Roman Polanski for what he has done. But the US System forgot that they have a statute of limitation of ten years. They should let bygones be bygones in this case.
