After an amazing opening weekend of the Liga Mexicana, Toluca and the lead the league. The Santos Laguneros had an impressive 4-1 win over Atlante and proved to be a team that will be hard to defeat. Due to their performance in the previous season, Toluca was able to stay in first place.
