WHILE I HAVE TRIED TO KEEP THE SPORTS BLOG SEPARATED FROM THE POLITICAL BLOG, I HAVE MADE ONE EXCEPTION TODAY WHEN IT COMES TO THE FINANCIAL MESS THAT EXISTS. IT CANNOT BE IGNORED.

AN OPEN LETTER TO JAMES REYNOLDS OF BBC NEWS

 

The Financial Crisis in America started in America. The Republicans and Democrats wasted money on an unwinnable war which is Iraq and Afghanistan. The Republicans and Democrats [in collaboration with Wall Street] mixed the state with business. Another factor was the people who made purchases in houses and autos without reading the fine print in the contracts or finding a lawyer. The last factor was unscrupulous bankers in the USA who made immoral business measures. The solution lies in voting out the Republicans and Democrats, replacing them with Libertarians, and being responsible for one’s own action without blaming the People’s Republic of China. Mr. James Reynolds, please think before blaming the People’s Republic of China.

 

OPEN LETTER TO THE STATUS QUO IN WASHINGTON

 

I am disgusted over the economic mess created by the Status Quo in Washington and the corporations that are in trouble because of bad management created by them. I am disgusted at the Status Quo and certain corporations because I will eventually have to pay for their irresponsible behaviour.  Who is going to bail me out of my debts if I am greedy and irresponsible? No one would bail me out. Who is going to pay the debt secondary to the irresponsibility of the Status Quo and certain businessman? The taxpayer pays.  Will the taxpayer receive stocks in these NATIONALIZED companies? In reality it is doubtful that we the taxpayers will be the true owners.  We the taxpayers will be paying in every way possible.  Will the Congress take some responsibility over their lack of action? NO! What about being tried for treason? This is exactly the word for the inertia from our elected officials, what a shame! THIS IS THE REASON I AM VOTING LIBERTARIAN!!!!

 

WE SHOULD VOTE OUT THE STATUS QUO AND REPLACE THEM WITH LIBERTARIANS!!! THE STATUS QUO AND THEIR IRRESPONSIBLE BUSINESS PARTNERS SHOULD BE GIVEN LIFE SENTENCES AND HARD LABOUR [AFTER BEING TRIED BY A COURT OF LAW] FOR THIS CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY!!!]

OSWALDO PAYA MERECE EL PREMIO NOBEL DE LA PAZ!!

Quiero proponer [en union con otros cubanos y amantes de la libertad] la nominacion de Oswaldo Paya para El Premio Nobel de la Paz. Oswaldo Paya [junto con las Damas de Blanco] siguen luchando por la libertad a pesar de la represion en Cuba y la indiferencia de los amos de los Castros [y los que no quieren luchar por la libertad]. Hay que unirse para escribir a la Comision de Nobel en Suecia y/o Noruega para que se le nomine y otorgue ese premio.

Otros que merecen ser nominados son las Damas de Blanco, RCTV, y Yoannis Sanchez.

AVISO PARA VENEZUELA

Despues de recibir informacion de Univision y la Voz de Rusia acerca de los acontecimientos de Globovision y la construccion de un reactr nuclear en Venezuela con la ayuda de Rusia,  he aqui mi aviso.

Para aquellos que atacaron a Globovision y creen que tendra una defensa contra EEUU en el tratado con Rusia, los rusos como los americanos estan en la quiebra financiera. Incluso, Belarusia esta buscando contactos en Europa y China para no tener que estar dependiente de Rusia. Incluso, Chavez es un amigo de Wall Street y Moscu. Wall Street y Moscu quieren la desgracia de America Latina y los latinos en general con su actitud racista contra nosotros. Si Chavez te abandona, tendras que resolver las cosas a tu manera pues en EEUU y Europa, no quieren inmigrantes.

Para los indecisos, el ataque contra Globovision, [igual como las otras cadenas incluyendo RCTV] constituyen un flagelo contra la libertad de expresion. La alianza con Rusia es una calle sin salida. Me acuerdo cuando vivi en Venezuela [a pesar de los problemas pues todos los paises tienen su problema con el crimen y la corrupcion], hubo amabilidad, amor, amistad [sin distincion de raza y clase]. Me acorde de que la gente eran Venezolanos. Incluso, conoci un individuo proveniente de Rusia que se quedo en Venezuela y se olvido de Rusia. Asi era Venezuela. Incluso, me gusto mas a Venezuela que los EEUU [con la excepcion de Miami].

Me despido con lo siguiente: La indiferencia de los seres humanos es la causa de las cosas malas en el mundo. VOTA POR EL AMOR Y LA PAZ. DIGA NO AL ODIO Y LA GUERRA.

Hay Un Muerto Por Suicidio cada 16 minutos llegando a la totalidad de 31,000 vidas perdidas inecesariamente cada a~no.

 

El suicidio es la cuarta causa de muerte en adultos entre los 18-65 a~nos, la tercera causa en los adultos jovenes, y los ancianos. [DATOS DE LA FUNDACION AMERICANA PARA LA PREVENCION DEL SUICIDIO O AFSP].

FC Dallas Defeats DC United

FC Dallas played against DC United at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, Texas. It was a game that FC Dallas needed to win in order to possibly qualify for the MLS Cup. What happened was proof that statistics are not always right since FC Dallas was 8-9-9 and DC United was 10-13-3.

The game started with FC Dallas player Bruno Guarda receiving a yellow card for unsportsmanlike behaviour within 8 minutes of the game followed by a goal by Andre Rocha within 9 minutes of the game. Andre Rocha’s goal was unassisted and was a direct kick into the center of the net which caught the goalkeeper for DC United in a state of surprise. The rest of the game was one in which FC Dallas showed their best and the supporters were celebrating by waving flags of Texas and FC Dallas.

FC Dallas continued with their upbeat ways of playing a great game with the goals by Cunningham with the assistance of Zaragoza and Cooper [which was unassisted]. It was a great game for FC Dallas and the people were enjoying every moment. It was also great to see FC Dallas break its spell of not winning and ending the winning streak of DC United with 3 to 0. While FC Dallas won this time, it would be unwise if they were to sit back and relax. The MLS Cup is almost close at hand and it would be a big mistake if FC Dallas were to lose more games because of not practicing, overconfidence, under estimating the opponent, and lack of teamwork.

DC United never recovered from the initial shock and made serious errors in the game which the disciplined, and organized FC Dallas used to their advantage. DC United started to become a disorganized team with yellow cards for Guerrero [reckless tackle], Peralta [reckless foul], and Crayton [dissent] followed by the expulsion of Jaime Moreno for violent conduct unbecoming of a football [soccer] player. DC United may have a chance but it has to find a way to reorganize itself and its players will have to control their temper.

I would like to wish FC Dallas and DC United the best in their future games leading to the MLS Cup.

Boldin Injured as New York Jets Defeat Arizona Cardinals

I do not usually write about the New York Jets but after watching the New York Jets defeat the Arizona Cardinals, I had to write about the last 27 seconds of the game in which Anquan Boldin collided with two New York Jets Players. The players crashed into the head of Anquan Boldin and he appeared to have received a major injury within the last 27 seconds of a game which saw the New York Jets defeat the Arizona Cardinals 56 to 35.

I feel badly for Anquan Boldin and the Arizona Cardinals for the injury that happened within 27 seconds of the end of the game. It is something that should never have happened especially the previous injuries that Boldin received. While aware that American Football is a contact sport and that these things may be unavoidable, I often wander if Boldin had to pay the ultimate price. While aware that there cannot be regulations to soften the blows of American Football, I wander if this scene could have been avoided.

I would love to say more but the fact that the New York Jets committed this injury makes me wander if the NFL has penalties for the New York Jets. In the meantime, my heart, prayers, and soul is with the Anquan Boldin, his family, and the Arizona Cardinals.

Felicidades para Chivas y Cd. Juarez

LA NOCHE DE GUADALAJARA Y CIUDAD JUAREZ

El equipo venerado del Reba~no [Chivas de Guadalajara] jugo contra Atlas en el Clasico Tapatio durante la fecha de 27-IX-2008. El Reba~no mostro que tenia la fuerza para superar los retos del equipo Atlas. El unico gol del juego fue anotado por Xavier Ivan Baez a los 56 minutos. A pesar de las amonestaciones contra Solis y Mejia, El Reba~no logro seguir adelante mientras que Atlas no pudo con nuestro Reba~no. Incluso Atlas quedo desmoronado por la amonestacion de Torres Nilo de Atlas a los 84 minutos.

Quiero felicitar a los Reba~nos por esa victoria en el Clasico Tapatio. Ojala si hay mas victorias.

Los Indios de Ciudad Juarez jugaron contra los Tigres en Monterrey, Estado Nuevo Leon, Mexico el 27-IX-2008. El juego parace que no tenian el animo y hubo amonestaciones contra ambos equipos. Santiiba~nez recibio la primera a los 8 minutos seguido por Perez [61 minutos], otro miembro de los Indios [67 minutos], y Malague~no [78 minutos].

Los ultimos diez minutos del juego eran fenomenal para los Indios con el gol de Santiiba~nez a los 87 minutos cuando envio el balon hacia el fondo de las redes de los Tigres. El portero de los Tigres fueron sorprendidos pero no podian repsonder a la fuerza de los Indios. Incluso los Tigres no han podido ganar sus ultimos juegos.

Los Indios jugaron un juego limpio y organizado mientras los Tigres no tenian la Fortaleza ni la organization. Los Indios compensator con poca velocidad y aumentaron el paso durante del juego.Mis mejores deseos para los Indios en la Liga Mexicana.

Homenaje a Thiago Jotta Da Silva

Thiago Jotta da Silva murio en el Hospital Sagrado Filho en Rio de Janeiro, Brasil en la madrugada del 25 de Septiembre de 2008 de las heridas recibida de los disparos de tres personas el 18 de Septiembre 2008. La muerte de Thiago Jotta da Silva fue reportada por la agencia de noticias Xinhua y Radio Internacional de China. Thiago Jotta da Silva tenia 25 a~nos y estaba comenzando su carrera de futbol con el club Vasco de Gama seguido por el Club Estadio da Soccer.

 

Alyne Padula Viana [Ex Novia de Thiago Jotta da Silva], Marcia Padula Viana [la Tia de la Ex Novia], y Alexandra de Freitas da Silva [supuesta amiga y compa~nera de Marcia Padula Viana] fueron arrestados por su papel en el homicidio de Thiago Jotta da Silva. Parece que el mundo de los deportes [incluyendo el futbol] esta viviendo en carne propia un incidente que sucedio en el mundo de la farandula un Marzo 1995. Para aquellos que se han olvidado, la Cantante Tejana Mexicana Selena murio tras recibir disparos de Yolanda Saldivar. En el presente, Yolanda Saldivar sigue cumpliendo cadena perpetua.

 

Quiero expresar mi pesame hacia la familia de Thiago Jotta da Silva, la Republica Federativa de Brasil, El equipo nacional de futbol de Brasil, el equipo de futbol Vasco da Gama, y el equipo de futbol Estadio da Soccer. La perdida es irreparable para los que fueron mencionados. Quiero expresar mi repudio hacia las asesinas y su acto de infamia cuyo nombres son Alyne Padula Viana, Marcia Padula Viana, y Alexandra de Freitas da Silva. Parece mentira que los pleitos son resueltos mediante las armas. Parece mentira que la vida de un futbolista que amaba su pais termino gracias a la violencia de personas sin escrupulos y que son capaz de vender a su patria.
