According to reports from Xinhua and CRI English, the First Gold Medal in the Beijing Olympics was won by the Czech Republic. The winner was Katerina Emmons in the 10 metre air rifle final with 503.5 points. Congratulations to Katerina Emmons and the Czech Republic.
